Prayers for Emily

Please keep Sara and her family in your prayers. Their precious daughter Emily will be flying to Jesus arms very soon. Emily is now home on hospice and surrounded by her loving family, as she courageously fights her last earthly battle. Emily has the most beautiful smile and the sweetest of spirits, it makes you happy just to be around her, or see a picture. We got to know Emily and her family through her blog and in May of 2010 we had the privilege of meeting them in person. A truly amazing family.

I am copying and pasting the post I did a few days ago about the tubie buddy we sent to Emily so it is all in the same post.
Please keep sweet Emily and her family in your prayers. This courageous little girl has fought an amazing fight and has a truly beautiful spirit.
Today we sent lots of love, hugs, and snuggles to Emily and her family by way of Hello Kitty.
Hard to tell in the pics but Hello Kitty has a feeding tube, trach, broviac/port, and a oxygen probe(that hadn't been added when this pic was taken)



 




Update:  On April 16th Emily flew from the arms of her loving family into the arms of Jesus.  We love you Emily and you will always be in our hearts.
